Achievement

  • On November 15, 2013, the 49th National Health Day, Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Nafsiah Mboi, Sp. A, M.PH presented the Ksatria Bakti Husada Arutala Award - an award to a person or individual who contributed to the health sector - to the founder of PT. Dexa Medica, Drs. Rudy Soetikno, Apt. in Jakarta International Expo. The theme was "Achieving Healthy Indonesia and a Qualified National Health Insurance program (JKN)".

Coordinating People's Welfare Minister, Agung Laksono, Law and Human Rights Minister, Amir Syamsudin, and Minister of Environment, Balthasar Kambuaya, also attended the event.

"I would like to give my thanks for this great award. This appreciation will greatly motivate companies like Dexa Medica to keep up its contribution to the national health development program," said Drs. Soetikno after receiving the award.

This award is very meaningful as it is a great effort from Dexa Medica to realize the company's philosophy, “Expertise for the Promotion of Health”.

Drs. Rudy Soetikno's pioneering work started off by developing a national private pharmaceutical company, named PT Dexa Medica, with his colleagues, in 1969. At first, the effort was intended to answer to the scarcity of medicinal drugs. Since 1978, Dexa Medica's products have been distributed throughout Indonesia. Soon after obtaining the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Certification in 1990, PT Dexa Medica started to produce Generic Drugs with Logo (OGB).

OGBdexa has a wide product range, supplied in various dosages at affordable prices. It consists of almost all therapeutic classes, such as: antihypertensive, anti-cholesterol, anti-diabetic, antibiotics, antipyretic, antifungal, antiviral, antidepressant, etc. The massive production of generic drugs is one of PT Dexa Medica's ways of participating to succeed in JKN, starting from January 1, 2014.Corporate Communications
