:: COMPOSITION ::

Each capsule contains:
Azithromycin dihydrate equivalent to azithromycin 500 mg

 
:: INDICATIONS ::

Mild to moderate upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin and skin structure infections, non-gonococcal urethritis and cervicitis due to Chlamydia trachomatis.

 
:: DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION::

Adults:

  • Mild to moderate infection in pulmonary disease, pneumonia, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, skin and soft tissue infections: first day 1x500 mg, second until fifth days 1x250 mg.
  • Non-gonococcal urethritis & cervicitis due to Chlamydia trachomatis 1x1 g. Take at least 1 hour before meals or 2 hour after meals.
 
:: CONTRAINDICATION ::

Hypersensitive to azithromycin, erythromycin, and any other macrolides antibiotics.

 
:: WARNING AND PRECAUTION ::
  • Patients with hepatic and renal impairment.
  • Pregnant and breast feeding.
  • Children under 16 years old.
  • Patients who take ergot derivates.
 
:: ADVERSE EFFECT ::

Nausea, abdominal discomfort, vomiting, diarrhea, nephritis, dizziness, vertigo, headache.
