:: COMPOSITION ::

Each film coated tablet contains:
Bisoprolol fumarate 5 mg

 
:: INDICATION ::

Treatment of hypertension.

 
:: CONTRAINDICATION ::
  • Hypersensitive to bisoprolol fumarate.
  • Cardiogenic shock, heart disease, AV block (grade II or III), sinus bradycardia.
 
:: DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION ::

Dosis awal:
Initially dose 5 mg once daily or dosage may be increased to 10-20 mg once daily.

Patients with bronchospastic disorder, liver disease (hepatitis or cirrhosis), kidney dysfunction (creatinin clearance less than 40 ml/min), initially dose 2.5 mg once daily.

 
:: SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS ::
  • Renal or hepatic dysfunction.
  • Bronchospastic patients unresponsive or intolerant to other antihypertensives.
  • Beta blocker agents may mask some of the manifestations of hypoglycemia especially tachycardia.
 
:: ADVERSE REACTIONS ::

Dizziness, vertigo, headache, paresthesia, hypoesthesia, anxiety, dry mouth, bradycardia, palpitation and another rhythm disorder, cold extremities, claudications, hypotension, orthostatic hypotension, chest pain, heart failure, insomnia, depression, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, muscle pain/cramps, sore throat, tremor, rash, acne, eczema, skin irritation/redness, itching, sweating, alopecia, angioedema, exfoliative dermatitis, cutaneous vasculitis, visual disturbances, lacrimation abnormality, tinnitus, ear ache, gout, asthma, bronchospasms, cough, dyspnea, pharyngitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, reduced libido/impotence, Peyronie's disease, cystitis, renal colic, purpura, lassitude, tiredness, chest pain, weight gain.
