:: COMPOSITIONS ::

Each tablet contains:
Betamethasone 0.25 mg
Dexclorpheniramine maleat 2.0 mg

 
:: INDICATIONS ::

Allergic conditions that need corticosteroid therapy.

 
:: CONTRAINDICATIONS ::
 
  • Hypersensitivity to betamethasone & sulphite.
  • Patient who receiving MAO therapy
  • Neonates and premature infants
  • Infection of systemical function
  • Immunization
  • Peptic ulcer
:: DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATIONS ::

Adult and children > 12 years: 
1 tea spoon full every 4-6 hours daily.

Children 6-12 years:  
0.5 tea spoon full every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 3 tea spoon full daily.

Children 2-6 years:
0.25 tea spoon full every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 1,5 tea spoon full daily.

Drugs should be given with food or drink milk to reduce gastrointestinal adverse effects.

 
:: WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS ::
  • Inform the doctor about the developing of infection, signs of infection.
  • Use with caution in geriatric patients, debilitas, hypothyroidism, myocardial infarction, asthmatic, psychotic, hypertension, liver failure function.
  • Use with caution in post-menopausal women.
  • Do not used in patients infected with the virus/ bacteria.
  • Avoid the large dose on long-term therapy in children.
  • Pregnancing and lactating.
 
:: ADVERSE EFFECTS ::

If betamethasone given the long term-therapy can cause adverse effects such as: Protein catabolism, adrenocortical atrophy, the sensitivity of infection, edema, endocrine disruption, effects on gastrointestinal, neurologic side effects, drowsiness.
