:: COMPOSITIONS ::

Each ml contains:
25.0 mg of ranitidine as ranitidine HCl.

 
:: INDICATIONS ::

Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis, pathologic gastrointestinal hypersecretory conditions e.g. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and post-operative cases.

 
:: CONTRAINDICATIONS ::

Patient who has hypersensitivity to ranitidine.

 
:: DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATIONS ::

Adults
IM or intermittent IV: 50 mg every 6-8 hours.

If necessary, dosage may be increased by increasing the frequency of administration, but dosage should not exceed 400 mg daily.

When ranitidine is administered by continuous slow IV infusion, 150 mg of ranitidine is infused at a rate of 6.25 mg/hour over 24 hours.

When the drug is administered by continuous slow IV infusion in adults with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome or other hypersecretory conditions, the infusion is usually started at a rate of 1 mg/kg per hour.

In patient with renal impairment and creatinine clearances less than 50 ml/minute, the recommended dose is 50 mg every 18-24 hours by IM or IV (intermittent slow infusion or direct injection).

 
:: WARNING AND PRECAUTION ::

Patients with impaired renal function, pregnancy and nursing women, patients with hepatic dysfunction, children.

 
:: ADVERSE REACTIONS ::

Adverse reactions of ranitidine which may occurred are headache, diarrhea, dizziness, malaise, nausea, constipation, skin rash.
